Ceremonial song in the rite of passage from one age class to another among the Adioukrou. Youths judged sufficiently mature to pass from childhood to manhood. The singing of this track is a phase of this ritual during which the recipients form a procession and sing in a dialogue with the drum that provides the rhythm; their chorus converses with the soloist.
